Entertaiment is a broad category that can include anything from a choice of private entertainment in the form of movies and music, to an elaborate banquet and the accompanying music and dance; to performances intended for thousands. Many entertainers have become very familiar to us, and they have adapted themselves in various ways to suit the needs of different audiences. While the idea of entertainment is generally associated with amusement, it may also be regarded as serious or even political or socially critical.
