Entertaiment is a large, diverse subject that encompasses so much that it can be difficult to know where to start. Luckily, T E News’ fall issue took on the challenge, and sat down with some of the industry’s top talent to ask them what they thought was entertainment.

Entertainment can be adapted for any scale – from a single person choosing private entertainment on a new array of pre-recorded products; to a dinner party accompanied by music and dance for two; to a festival or celebration involving a thousand people, with performances to entertain them all. But while entertainment is often associated with fun and laughter, it can also be serious – as in ceremony, ritual, religious festivals or even satire.
